Today, I took out on my adventure into the Sierra Nevada Mountains and circumnavigated Lake Tahoe.  It took me nearly three hours to traverse the seventy-two mile loop.  However, it turned out to be one of the most rewarding times of my life.  I set the radio to a light classical rock station that mixed in some Christmas music, and I headed out.  What I thought was beautiful out my hotel window turned out to be rather mundane compared to what I was about to see.
