Time zone adjustment and sights to see

The past few days I’ve needed to get up at 4:30 or 5 every morning.  My body had gotten used to the fact, and I was adjusting the time I went to bed.  This worked well until I arrived in Reno.  Now, my body’s clock is all screwed up.  I was sleeping last night by 7:30 and up by 4:30.  I kept rolling over and trying to sleep.  But by 6, I couldn’t sleep anymore.  I hope this doesn’t last through the trip.  I could be in trouble if it does!

Today, is my first real day in town.  I’m headed to the auction site to do a little work later today.  This afternoon, I’m going to try and hit up the Nevada State Museum.  The museum highlights include being housed in the Carson City Mint complete with coin press, the world’s largest mammoth skeleton, and a walk through ghost town and underground mine.  It should be an interesting stop.

But this morning, I’m planning on heading up to Lake Tahoe.  I’m going to try and do the 72 mile drive around the lake.  It appears there are some awesome scenic views.  It should be a fun little trip!  I’ve got the camera powered up and ready to go.  I’m excited to get into the mountains and see the beautiful views!  Heck, check out the view from my hotel last night.
